Maria Śliczniak is an experienced artist and educator who graduated from the Institute of Artistic Education at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. She holds a certified teaching degree and for years served as a methodological advisor at the Teacher Training Center, supporting other art teachers by organizing workshops and open-air exhibitions. Currently, her activities focus on working with the younger generation in Zamość: Activities: She leads art workshops at the “Okrąglak” Community Center and the “Printing House of Imagination” Association. Mission: She focuses on awakening imagination and aesthetic sensitivity, and preparing students for conscious participation in culture, with a strong emphasis on promoting the region and its traditions. Achievements: Her students regularly win medals and awards in national and international competitions, and the most talented receive artistic scholarships for further development. Young artists have achieved success at, among others: The International Meeting of Juvenile Art in Évora, Portugal, is one of the most prestigious art competitions in the world, with students regularly achieving success. The International Art Competition for Children “Piatra Neamţ Creativ” is an annual artistic event held in Romania, in which Zamość youth achieve numerous successes. The International Biennial of Youth Art “Passions and Talents” is a cyclical art competition organized by the Bielsko Cultural Center in Bielsk Podlaski. It is open to children and youth from around the world.
