Veysel Akar

Born in 1960, the artist has worked as a teacher and department head at Trabzon Fine Arts High School and the Science and Art Center. A member of the jury at the State Fine Arts Gallery and private galleries, Professor ACAR has participated in 9 solo exhibitions and numerous national and international exhibitions, winning awards. His works for the Ministry of Culture’s “Turkey is Being Painted in the 125th Year of Atatürk’s Birth” and “Historical Train Stations” projects have been exhibited throughout Turkey. The artist, who has participated in events in many countries, is the curator of the “Children of the World in Trabzon” exhibition.
